Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Alison Johnson earned both her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Doctorate of Audiology degree from Samford University. Originally from Mississippi, Alison moved to Birmingham when she started her schooling at Samford University. She holds her Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in the state of Alabama. She is also certified by the American Board of Audiology. Dr. Johnson currently serves as Vice- President on the Board of the Alabama Academy of Audiology. Her professional interests include adult diagnostics, hearing aids, tinnitus, and vestibular evaluations.
In her free time, Alison enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She grew up going to Pickwick Lake and loves anything water related. In the fall, she enjoys deer hunting and enjoys duck hunting in the winter. She loves watching Mississippi State football and baseball and attends games whenever she gets the chance. Hail State!
